reated in the 19th century, for baseball, the cap’s visor offered protection from the sun, while also offering a wide field of vision. First in straw, then canvas, then merino wool, then nylon and cotton.

With its expertise in wool and felting, Ermenegildo Zegna has taken inspiration from the early caps and explored merino, cashmere and silk to create a new range of classic caps.
